TheSilentGunner Blog (TSGB) was launched in February 2009 and is the baby of PY Chan, an avid Arsenal fan. Articles covered by the writer include post-match reviews of Arsenal’s games, her take on the latest news and happenings, exclusive interviews and product/press releases, all of which can be found on various pages at the blogsite.
THE WRITER
PY Chan, the administrator-cum-author of TSGB, is a 22 year-old student from Malaysia who is currently pursuing her degree in Quantity Surveying. Her aspirations include to someday become a successful Quantity Surveyor in the construction field and contribute towards the development of modern construction, but to see Arsenal live in action remains highest on her wants list.
Being an Arsenal fan since she was a teenager, she’s most attracted by Arsenal’s style of play and her favourite player is Cesc Fabregas. Her love for Arsenal and football has led to the creation of this blog so that at random times, she could use (or misuse) it as a platform to rant, moan and criticise upon random football issues, events, players or managers. Her best moments as an Arsenal fan were when the Gunners achieved a record 49-game unbeaten run in the Premier League and when they made it to the Champions League final in the 2005/2006 season.
PY admits to not being the most committed blogger there is, but she tries to update whenever possible and when other commitments don’t get in the way. She hopes and appreciates you following her footie stories nonetheless, however occasional they may be.
